A shifting world order
For the twenty-third conference, our team crafted a program that encompassed unique opportunities to talk with Germany’s highest-ranking politicians as well as a targeted focus on central cultural and historical topics.
Highlights
In 2024, candidates had the chance to meet with Robert Habeck, then Vice-Chancellor of Germany and Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action. The program combined more high-profile discussions, including talks with key government officials and political experts such as Siemtje Möller, then Parliamentary State Secretary in Berlin. International perspectives were given by Halyna Yanchenko, Member of the Ukrainian Parliament and Secretary of the National Investment Council of Ukraine; Bogolo J. Kenewendo, UN Climate Change High-Level Champions’ Special Advisor; and Shashi Tharoor, Member of the Indian Parliament and Chairman of the Committee on External Affairs, among others. The year’s cultural activities included a tour through the exhibition of the German Resistance Memorial Center and a garden dinner with alumni at Aedes Network Campus in Berlin.
